Katey is an emerging artist from North Yorkshire, using oil paints to bring her creative vision to life. Her work explores the quiet moments found in architecture and nature,  focusing on light, colour, and simplified forms. She is drawn to the often overlooked details, such as rooftops, balconies, foliage, and flowers, using this as inspiration for her creativity. 

 

Katey creates images that feel both familiar and slightly removed from reality, adding an  added layer of visual dimension to her artwork. Through deliberate colour choices and controlled compositions, she aims to balance observation with interpretation. 

Katey's artwork intends to invite the viewer into spaces that feel calm, intimate, reflective, and sometimes even slightly uncomfortably quiet.
