Thread painting has become a new contemporary embroidery technique designed to create realistic embroidery artwork that almost looks as if it has been painted. Long and short stitch is the technique at the foundation of thread painting. Led by Elysian Fyre, an embroidery crafter and artist, through out this workshop you will be taught the basic of embroidery and the technique of long and short stitch so you can create a mini mushroom embroidery that can be displayed.
