The Collective is a member-led group of disabled and neurodivergent creatives and crafters. It is a welcoming space designed to nurture, support creativity, and connection among artists and crafters. You do not need to be looking to sell your art or be a seasoned artists to get involved. We know creatives come in all shapes and sizes.
We provide financial and occupational opportunities for our artists whilst creating opportunity for networking, socials and creative workshops for our members. We believe in providing valuable resources to help you thrive in your artistic journey, we do this through 1-to-1 support, wider networking events and creative opportunity to showcase your art.
As a member of our collective, you will have the opportunity to be a featured artist on our website, showcasing your work to a wider audience and we will keep you up-to-date with the latest opportunities through our members newsletter.
Any creative who identifies as disabled and/or neurodivergent can apply! We accept anyone who is creative, whether you are a seasoned arts practitioners to those who are yet to sell their first painting or simply enjoy creativity as a hobby or a small side-hustle. We know creatives come in all shapes and sizes, our aim is to showcase the talent of disabled and neurodivergent people whilst support our artist's wellbeing. We include all arts practices, from spoken word, poetry and actors to musicians, dancers and videographers.
We aim to run showcases and exhibitions throughout the year and some that are exclusive to those with memberships with the creative members and creative achievers tiers. We support artists through 1-to-1 mentoring and support to enable them to achieve personal creative goals. We also provide networking opportunities and social connection through a monthly online social and other led-workshops for our members that will most benefit our creatives. When funding and grants allow we create further opportunities that benefit our creatives, being a part of the Collective means you will be the first to know about any exciting opportunities you can be involved in, such as member-led workshops to individual artist funding and residencies.
We aim to regularly keep in touch with our members. One of the ways we do this is we run a monthly members meet-up. Each month, members have the opportunity to meet up and join in on a members workshop. We will announce further details soon! If you want to get involved and be kept in the loop about members' meetings and workshops please become a member today!
You can sign up to a membership plan, further details can be found here(/join-the-collective)
The reason we have members sign up via a membership ensures we can continue to provide the opportunities we do including free and subsided events for those on the creative members and creative achievers tiers.
